About us
Appmilla builds engaging experiences for FinTech and Web3 organisations. Delivering apps for all platforms – web, mobile, desktop and decentralised.
We’re on a mission to increase financial inclusion. FinTech, Web3 and AI have fantastic potential to disrupt and reshape the financial services landscape, and to positively contribute to financial inclusion in fundamental ways. Providing global access, removing friction and confusion, simplifying, modernising and accelerating interactions, lowering costs and barriers, banking the unbanked and ensuring everyone can access life changing financial products and services 24/7. This is our passion.
We work with start-ups, scale-ups and enterprise clients, mostly involved with the early stage ideas and outsourced innovation, designing and building prototypes, experiments, and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs). We also provide team augmentation to scale-ups and larger clients to help scale their tech, fast track their roadmap delivery, and accelerate their growth. Our clients include Sage Earth, Clear Accept, and SSE to name a few, read the latest about us and our clients on our blog or on Twitter (now X).
Our work and experience include: Challenger Banks, E-Money, Trading, Investments, Lending, Consumer Finance, Payment Processors, Receipts Management, Near field communications (NFC), Ecommerce, Open Banking, InsureTech, RegTech, Security, KYC/AML, Digital Wallets and Blockchain/Web3. We’ve got some super exciting Web3 projects on the horizon soon, so now is the time for us to grow the delivery team.

We’re based in the SouthWest of the UK, but fully remote – although often meet in Bristol and elsewhere for face-to-face sessions and socials.
We also encourage and are big advocates of freedom and self-sovereignty. Our employment contract has no anti-competition or draconian IP ownership clauses, or indeed any say over what you do outside of the hours you work for us. Side-hustles, pet projects, community engagements, whatever – we don’t own you, we just pay for hours of your expertise.
Benefits and Perks:
- Fair salary reflecting experience.
- A flexible and fair employment contract.
- Remote working, flexible hours, no overtime, good work-life balance.
- Latest Apple laptop to work from.
