C3 Commerce and Appmilla

Exploring agentic commerce and shaping a new AI-driven service offering

C3

We're thrilled that Appmilla has been supporting C3 Commerce, a UK-based ecommerce agency working across Shopify Plus, Medusa, Magento and Adobe Commerce. Appmilla was engaged to explore the opportunities of agentic commerce for C3’s products, services, and clients.

Agentic commerce is the shift from people browsing websites to AI assistants discovering products, answering questions, and completing purchases on a customer’s behalf – inside platforms like ChatGPT and beyond. For ecommerce businesses, this raises a new set of questions: is your store discoverable to AI agents, is your catalogue and checkout ready for agent-led purchases, and can an AI assistant represent your brand safely and accurately?

James worked with C3 to explore these questions and turn them into a practical offering, contributing to the design and implementation planning behind C3’s new AI Driven Ecommerce services. This spans an Agentic Readiness Audit covering discoverability and catalogue data, feed and catalogue engineering for AI shopping surfaces, agentic checkout enablement, and an on-site AI sales and support agent built on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with brand-safe guardrails.

The result is a structured way for C3 and their clients to understand where they stand today, and a clear, phased roadmap towards being discoverable, trusted and operationally ready for AI-driven shopping.

“Agentic commerce is moving fast, and we wanted to get ahead of it for our clients. Appmilla helped us think through what this really means in practice and turn that into a concrete service offering that we’re confident in. The result is something we’re genuinely excited to bring to market.” – Jamie Saunders, CEO, C3 Commerce

This kind of work reflects where Appmilla’s focus now sits: helping businesses make sense of agentic AI and turn it into practical, deliverable plans.
